Section VIIPrecautions for Safe Handling and Use |
Steps to be Taken in Case Material is Released or Spilled |
Usually not a problem with aerosols. Provide adequate ventilation. Soak up with sand, clay, earth, or other absorbent material and shovel into container. Dispose as hazardous waste in accordance with EPA RCRA. |
Waste Disposal Method |
Dispose of at an approved waste disposal terminal. Aerosol cans must be disposed of in an environmentally accepted manner due to their potential to present an explosion hazard. |
Precautions to be Taken in Handling and Storing |
Store in a cool location (60-80?F) away from sunlight or any source of heat, sparks, or flames. |
Other Precautions |
Use normal good industrial hygienic practices. When spraying more than 1/2 can continuously or more than one can consecutively, use NIOSH approved respirator. |
